Mentor: Marijana Paunović, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade
“Ames Room” is solved by method of perspective, in order to represent an optical illusion where the objects of the same size at different distances from the observer are seen as they are in the same plane but with different sizes. The aim of the workshop is to realize few geometric models of “Ames Room”, in order to notice advantages of certain geometric models by using experimental – comparative method.
Workshop is divided into two parts. The first part of the workshop will take place at the Faculty of Applied Arts for a period of ten days, and refers to the implementation and development of sketches, preliminary design and project. The second part is scheduled for realization of the models in the Museum of Science and Technology (5 days).
